內容簡介


本書可謂《圖解中國古代哲學·先秦篇》（簡稱《先秦篇》）的續集，《先秦篇》集中討論先秦思想，本書則縷析由漢至清的思想演變，時間跨度幾乎是《先秦篇》的四倍，內容則分別討論漢代哲學、魏晉玄學、佛家學說、道教思想、宋明理學及清代經學，即以論述漢代經學為始，又以清代經學為終，也算是「有始有終一循環」。

 

春秋戰國時期，思想界呈百家爭鳴之態，但漢代獨尊儒學之後，思想上其實並沒有甚麼創新。漢代以經學為主，是研究儒家經典的章句訓詁之學，清代經學的成就雖然勝於漢代，但仍脫不了考據之學；魏晉玄學只是發揮道家的形上思想，而道教也可以看成是道家的宗教化；至於宋明理學，亦不過是儒家思想的復興；唯獨隋唐佛學有些新意，但別忘記佛學是來自印度的思想，並不是本地貨。先秦以儒、道、墨三家為主流，隋唐後則變成儒、道、佛三家，佛家取代了墨家的地位。這種情況直到清末列強入侵中國，西方思想湧入才改變。

梁光耀

香港中文大學哲學博士，主修美學，現為香港大學附屬學院講師。研究興趣包括藝術、思考方法、邏輯、中國哲學及宗教哲學。著有《圖解思考方法》、《藝術死亡》、《思考方法淺論》、《思考方法·藝術評論》等。
