廣東惠州人。香港中文大學哲學系兼任教授，興趣是人生哲學，主要教授通識課程：中國哲學主流思想、死亡與不朽、幸福論、思考的盲點、愛情哲學、電影、哲學與人生、存在主義等。著作有《開發精確的思考?新編》、《思考的盲點》、《生命坎陷與現象世界》、《莊子齊物論義理演析》、《哲學的陌生感》、《哲學的追尋》及《愛的盲點?80後篇》等。
