田家英在公務之餘，潛心研究清代墨蹟，積之既久，成就了名聞海內外的小莽蒼蒼齋的收藏，其中包括吳梅村、袁枚、劉墉、阮元、曾國藩、翁同龢、康有為、林紓、王國維等大量名人的書畫。本書從小莽蒼蒼齋的藏品中精選百餘件明清、近代人物的條幅、楹聯、橫幅、手卷、扇面、銘墨和印章等珍品，輔以田家英的女兒曾自和女婿陳烈撰寫的趣味記述，使讀者在清賞翰墨的同時，從中了解田家英的收藏軼事以及藏品的背景故事，體會田家英的風骨氟度、歷史情懷和富有傅奇色彩的人生經曆。




作者簡介


陳烈，1952年生，天津南開大學歷史系文博專業畢業。曾任中國歷史博物館展覽室主任，副研究員。工作之余，整理田家英遺留的清代學者墨蹟，編輯《小莽蒼蒼齋藏清代學者法書選集》，並撰寫有關文章見諸報刊。


曾自，田家英的女兒，中央文獻研究室研究員，陳烈的夫人。1995年後，採訪蒐集關於父親的生平資料，在報刊發表多篇文章。
