本書是金觀濤、劉青峰繼《興盛與危機》《開放中的變遷》之後，第三部關於「超穩定結構」學說的著作。該書延續前兩本著作的方法理論，繼續從中國是一個超穩定結構假說出發，討論中國歷代政治文化的特點及其演化機制。通過比較魏晉南北朝時期佛教傳入與近代西方文明擴張這兩次重大的外來文化沖擊，探討中國文化融合消化外來文化所具有的共同模式，並進而揭示二十世紀中國現代思想的起源。




作者簡介


金觀濤：香港中文大學中國文化研究所高級名譽研究員。主要著作有《我的哲學探索》《歷史的巨鏡》《軸心文明與現代社會》《消失的真實》《真實與虛擬》。金觀濤與劉青峰長期合作研究，合著代表作有《興盛與危機》《開放中的變遷構》《中國現代思想的起源》《觀念史研究》《中國思想史十講（上）》等。

劉青峰：香港中文大學中國文化研究所名譽研究員，香港中文大學《二十一世紀》雙月刊創刊編輯。著有《讓科學的光芒照亮自己》《公開的情書》。


金觀濤、劉青峰於1980年代出版的《興盛與危機─論中國封建社會的超穩定結構》，提出對中國社會「超穩定結構」的解釋體系，在海內外學界引起巨大反響；金觀濤任主編、劉青峰任常務編委的《走向未來》叢書(1983—1988)，已被公認是啟蒙了一代人、極具影響力的一套叢書。
