作者簡介


奧里森．馬登（Orison Marden，1848-1924），美國暢銷書作家，1848年生於美國新罕布什爾州，3歲喪母，7歲喪父，爲生存而每天工作14個小時，但仍抓緊一切機會讀書自學。


14歲時受英國人作家塞繆爾．史邁爾斯（Samuel Smiles）《自己决定命運》（Self-Help）一書啟發，立志要出人頭地，最終獲得多個大學學位。


1894年完成處女作《偉大的勵志書》（Pushing to the Front），獲得空前成功，首年即再版12次，並被翻譯介紹到國外，1905年前後僅在日本就售出近100萬册。其他著作包括《思考與成功》、《高貴的人格》、《成功學原理》等逾50本。
