全書可分為六部分，第一部分（1 至11 篇）是十一位重要哲學家對藝術的看法；第二部分（12 至20 篇）討論藝術和美的定義、性質、分類等問題；第三部分（21 至30 篇）主要關於藝術的評價和解釋；第四部分（31 至38 篇）探討藝術時期、流派和發展；第五部分（39 至44 篇）涉及當代理論的應用，如馬克思主義、精神分析和女性主義；第六部分（45 至48 篇）是有關東方美學，包括中國和日本；最後一篇〈藝術未來〉算是總結。




作者簡介


梁光耀

香港中文大學哲學博士，主修美學，現為香港大學附屬學院講師。研究興趣包括藝術、思考方法、邏輯、中國哲學及宗教哲學。著有《圖解思考方法》、《思考學堂》、《談電影看哲學》、《圖解政治哲學》、《藝術死亡》、《思考方法淺論》、《思考方法．藝術評論》等。
