內容簡介

　　一座建築得以巍峨而立，從設計興建到落成啟用，投放的人力資源成百上千，涉及的工種也數以十計。當中在建築地盤最前線工作的工人，長久以來都缺乏完善的教育配套，他們如欲學習某一門手藝，便得找師傅拜師學藝。隨着職業學校於1960 年代末興起，傳統工藝與新式教育日漸磨合，至1970年代中，政府設立數個獨立機構大力推動當時幾個主流行業的培訓教育，其中一個是香港建造業訓練局。


　　適逢2020年正值香港建造培訓45 周年，本書正是集中回顧過去45年來，建造業訓練局、建造業議會及香港建造學院一脈相承的普及建造培訓和教育的發展。當中依據歷史檔案、官方刊物，以及與五十多位建造業界領導、先進及從業員訪談所得的資料整理編撰，共分八章，從傳統師徒制到前瞻建造行業的未來。另外，建造業界對提升工地安全和工藝水平一直不遺餘力，本書亦特設專章探討當中的歷程。


作者介紹

劉智鵬
