治是香港最重要的核心價值之一，但一般市民對法律的認識，往往建基於電視劇裏充滿戲劇性的法庭場面， 而對一些基本的、與其日常生活相關的民商法律和法庭程序往往都是不甚了了，不求甚解。 本書的對象正是一般沒有法律訓練背景但又對法律有興趣的普羅讀者。書中各文的作者，都是香港大律師公會的會員，也是在香港執業的大律師。他們來自不同的大律師事務所，年資和專長都各有不同。 文章全部環繞有關大律師制度及法律專業中一些民事法和商業法的法律原則和解決爭議的程序，包括競爭法、版權法、合約法、商業仲裁和調解等。希望能通過比較簡單易明的語言，向讀者介紹香港民商法的一些基本概念。


作者簡介

麥業成

倫敦大學法學士，倫敦大學政治經濟學院法學碩士，香港大律師(1988年認許)，香港大律師公會名譽秘書及司庫(2003年至2004 年)，香港大律師公會執委(2002 年、2005年至2007年、2010年至2015年)，香港大律師公會大中華事務委員會主席(2005年至2015 年)。




羅沛然

倫敦大學政治經濟學院法學士， 香港大學哲學博士，香港大律師(1992年認許)，香港大律師公會執委(1995年至1997年，2001年至2005年，2006年至2015年)，香港大律師公會憲法及人權事務委員會主席(2008年至2015年)，香港大律師公會競爭法委員會主席(2012 年至2015年)。參與Hong Kong Civil Court Practice 及Archbold Hong Kong 編纂工作；近著有The Hong Kong Basic Law (2011)、The Judicial Construction of Hong Kong's Basic Law: Courts, Politics and Society after 1997 (2014)。
