在這本書裏，作者從音樂、文化、社會、歷史、心理學、腦神經科學、精神科等多個角度，深入淺出，帶領讀者檢視流行音樂以及進入向雪懷的歌詞世界。向雪懷的作品道盡近代香港人的種種故事，亦嘗試為不同的階層發聲，認識他的人生及代表作，除了可以對廣東流行音樂有更深入的認識，更可以重回上世紀八九十年代的那一段光景，甚至重新看見那一個自己。



作者介紹


陳啓泰，精神科專科醫生，填詞人。大學時期已經在香港樂壇發表廣東流行歌曲（Cantopop）作品，並於上世紀九十年代初成為香港作曲家及作詞家協會的會員。多年來，除了行醫及從事與醫學相關的工作外，亦一直致力推廣大眾精神健康教育；另外仍繼續進行不同範疇的創作及文化工作。二○一六年，以Academic Visitor身份遠赴英國劍橋大學的Department of East Asian Studies，開展有關數碼化與人類的跨學科研究；期間，更應邀主講了一場關於廣東流行歌曲與香港社會的中國研究研討會。
