王南屏先生（一九二四——一九八五），號玉齋，原籍江蘇常州，是二十世紀活躍於中國乃至海外的知名書畫鑒藏家。玉齋所藏重要宋元書畫，如米芾《向太后挽詞貼》、宋徽宗《四禽圖卷》和王安石《楞嚴經旨要卷》等，均為世所罕見的書畫藝術精品，幾無一件流失海外，為國寶回流盡了一分綿力。


本書較完整地呈現了玉齋的鑒藏成就、收藏態度與鑒賞要義等，對二十世紀中國古代書畫流轉的鑒藏圈作了彌足珍貴的梳理，可謂小中見大，不啻為一部近代鑒藏小史。書中對若干家藏書畫歷史的考證，也不乏創見。




作者簡介


王樸仁（1952—2017），出生於上海，四歲移居香港，系著名書畫鑒藏家王南屏之子，美國麻州大學（University of Massachusetts）物理系教授。常年在大學教授凝聚態（condensed matter）與軟物質物理學（Soft Matter Physics）的同時，由於家學的影響，王樸仁對中國書畫的鑒定與收藏也浸淫頗深，并小有成就。
