內容簡介

嗇色園黃大仙祠是享譽海內外的道教廟宇和慈善團體，主祀黃大仙師及道、釋、儒三教神明。百年來，黃大仙師庇佑香江，對善信「有求必應」，在香港社會有口皆碑；而「黃大仙信俗文化」世代相傳，是本土傳統文化的重要組成部分；2014 年更榮列國家級非物質文化遺產名錄，進一步確認了黃大仙祠在香港宗教的重要地位及價值。


2021 年，欣逢嗇色園黃大仙祠成立一百周年（1921—2021）紀慶，本書編輯委員會搜集了百年來有關黃大仙祠之歷史與文化史料，以及大量珍貴的歷史圖片，彙編出版。本書同時收錄了道教的專家、學者鴻文，攸關「香港黃大仙信俗」及道教文化，是本書的一大亮點。此外，書中更收錄了黃大仙祠各殿堂及收藏的文物（法器、碑文、匾額及楹聯等），以及精心編列的「大事紀略」等資料，彌足珍貴。
