內容簡介

西西為二次大戰後在本地推動電影文化潮流的元老之一，曾於上世紀六十年代大量評論世界各地的電影潮流。當時，西西由淺入深地引介了不同時空的中外電影，不少作品今日堪稱經典；即使文章發表年代久遠，至今讀來仍未過時。從縱向角度看，她上追二十世紀初的電影歷史及美學知識；從橫向的角度看，則遍及本地、歐美、東亞地區的電影作品。

本書分上、中、下三冊，涵蓋西西在日報、晚報、電影或文藝刊物上談電影的文字，致力呈現她在六十年代賞評電影的全貌。本冊收錄《中國學生周報》「電影與我」專欄、單篇短文，以及《新生晚報》「開麥拉眼」專欄，共計過百篇，大多在一九六三至一九六五年間發表，屬於西西電影時期的「前期」寫作成果。另備相關電影及人物譯名，俾便讀者按圖索驥。



作者簡介


西西，原名張彥，廣東中山人，一九三七年生於上海，一九五○年定居香港。曾任教職。著作極豐，包括詩、散文、長短篇小說、書評書介等四十餘種，形式及內容不斷創新，影響深遠。屢獲文學獎項與表揚，包括二○○五年獲《星洲日報》「花蹤世界華文文學獎」；二○一一年選為香港書展「年度文學作家」；二○一四年獲「全球華文文學星雲獎」之貢獻獎；二○一九年獲美國「紐曼華語文學獎」，同年底獲瑞典「蟬文學獎」；二○二二年獲香港藝術發展局頒發「終身成就獎」。
