劉以鬯一生寫下逾六千萬字作品，以小說為大宗，散文僅屬少數。涉及與他人往來故實的，迄今只見十八篇，憶述十五位不同輩份的文友，包括豐子愷、葉靈鳳、巴金、司馬長風、熊式一等。這批文字在寫人散文領域中頗有特點，對了解作者交誼、生平和文壇人事有重要價值。本書編者為每篇文章撰寫編者附言，說明文章的版本，簡述作家的生平與成就，以及劉以鬯與他們訂交的來龍去脈。




作者簡介


劉以鬯，原名劉同繹（一九一八年十二月七日—二○一八年六月八日），祖籍浙江鎮海。上海聖約翰大學畢業。一九四八年底移居香港。一九四一至二○○○年，先後在重慶、上海、香港、新馬等地任報紙副刊和雜誌主編。中國作家協會會員。主要作品有：小說集《酒徒》、《對倒》、《寺內》、《陶瓷》、《天堂與地獄》、《打錯了》、《多雲有雨》；散文和雜文合集《不是詩的詩》、《他的夢和他的夢》；評論集《端木蕻良論》、《看樹看林》、《短綆集》、《見蝦集》、《暢談香港文學》等。作品屢獲獎項，入選海內外多種選本、鑒賞辭典和教材，並被譯為英、法、意、法蘭德斯和日語。


二○○一年起，先後榮膺香港公開大學榮譽文學教授銜、榮譽文學博士學位；香港嶺南大學榮譽文學博士學位；香港書展及文學節首屆「年度文學作家」；香港藝術發展局「傑出藝術貢獻獎」、「終身成就獎」；香港特別行政區榮譽勳章和銅紫荊星章。
