本書分上下兩編，通過文士的賦頌、詩歌，以及歷史等文獻，考察了唐玄宗時代最重要的兩次符瑞詮釋活動：長安興慶宮龍池和潞州上黨的符瑞活動，展現及記錄了他得天命治天下的瑞祥意涵，以說明君主受天命治天下的合法正統性、符瑞的特殊意義，以及在古代中國政治場域所扮演的角色。




作者簡介


呂家慧，台灣大學學士，雙主修中文與歷史，北京大學中文系碩士，香港中文大學中文系博士。現任香港城市大學中文及歷史學系副教授，主要研究興趣是中國中古的政治、文化、物質、思想與文學的關係。曾在《台大文史哲學報》、《北京大學學報》等刊物發表論文十數篇，並主持香港研資局優配研究金計劃「儀式與文章：唐玄宗朝的太平敘事」。
