目前坊間少有社會研究著作以族裔經濟、移民融合以及多元文化的視角，深入探討南亞小企業如何在香港的商業世界中立足、打拚和扎根。本書聚焦在香港的巴基斯坦和尼泊爾兩個族群的小商戶，揭示了長期被主流社會所隱藏的另類本土故事。書中更有與非政府機構的訪談，探索本港多元文化社區的實況，冀望藉此在促進南亞移民的社會融合議題上，為政策制定者及普羅大眾提供另一種新思維。


作者簡介

郭儉，明愛專上學院社會科學院助理教授，維也納大學東亞研究系博士。教學與研究範圍包括族裔經濟、海外華人、多元文化、多元文化與社會工作等等。

羅金義，香港教育大學社會科學系副教授，大中華研究中心聯席總監，《香港社會科學學報》總編輯。有關香港研究的編著包括《山河．家國．難民情：調景嶺小故事》、《留給梁振英的棋局：通析曾蔭權時代》、《香港經濟：非經濟學讀本》等等。
