本書記下黃金一生畫師之路。

他前半生都離不開電影廣告繪畫，期間先後效力多家戲院，留下不少聲勢奪目的電影廣告畫作；八十年代淡出戲院行業後，主攻人像畫，聚合此前數十年的廣告繪畫功力，開拓另一片藝術天地。

從商業走到藝術，本書除了由他親述生平，也收錄其大量電影畫作，以至多張人像作品，部分草圖從未曝光，珍貴非常。

本書既是看畫，也是讀人。

作者介紹


年逾八旬的黄金，早於13歲便涉足繪畫電影廣告行業，直至八十年代仍從事相關工作， 前後橫跨三十年，多少氣勢磅礡的巨型戲院廣告畫，例如《七十二家房客》、《李後主》等，皆出自其手筆，獲後輩行家封為業內「四大天王」之一。

八十年代淡出電影廣告行業後，潛心鑽研人像畫，展現新的藝術格局。近三十載經常與不同藝術界師友交流，並開班授徒。近年先後舉辦「海報中的黃金」展覽（1998年）、「黃金歲月．黃金視藝作品展」（2015年）及「電影美好年代．黃金美好時代」展覽（2019年）等。
